N\u00eb utilitarin sudo<\/a><\/noindex>, i p\u00ebrdorur p\u00ebr organizimin e ekzekutimit t\u00eb komandave n\u00eb em\u00ebr t\u00eb p\u00ebrdoruesve t\u00eb tjer\u00eb, u identifikua<\/a><\/noindex> vulneraibiliteti (CVE-2019-18634<\/a><\/noindex>), duke\u00e7ku lejon\u00eb q\u00eb t\u00eb rritni privilegjet tuaja n\u00eb sistem deri te p\u00ebrdoruesi root. Problemi shfaqet q\u00eb nga publikimi i sudo 1.7.1 vet\u00ebm kur p\u00ebrdoret n\u00eb skedarin \/etc\/sudoers opsioni «pwfeedback», i cili \u00ebsht\u00eb i \u00e7activizuar si parazgjedhje, por i aktivizuar n\u00eb disa distribucione, si Linux Mint dhe Elementary OS. Problemi \u00ebsht\u00eb zgjidhur n\u00eb publikimin sudo 1.8.31<\/a><\/noindex>, i publikuar disa or\u00eb m\u00eb par\u00eb. N\u00eb distribucionet, dob\u00ebsia ende mbetet e pazgjidhur.<\/p>\n

Opsioni «pwfeedback» aktivizon shfaqjen e simbolit «*» pas \u00e7do simboli t\u00eb futur gjat\u00eb futjes s\u00eb passwordit. P\u00ebr shkak t\u00eb gabimit<\/a><\/noindex> n\u00eb realizimin e funksionit getln(), t\u00eb caktuar n\u00eb skedarin tgetpass.c, nj\u00eb varg i kaluar nga rrjedha standarde e hyrjes (stdin) shum\u00eb i madh mund t\u00eb mos ket\u00eb vend n\u00eb memorie t\u00eb ndar\u00eb dhe t\u00eb mbishkruaj\u00eb t\u00eb dh\u00ebna t\u00eb tjera n\u00eb stack. Mbishkarkimi ndodh gjat\u00eb ekzekutimit t\u00eb kodit sudo me privilegje root.<\/p>\n

Essenca e problemit \u00ebsht\u00eb se gjat\u00eb p\u00ebrdorimit t\u00eb karakterit special ^U (pastrimi i vargut) dhe gjat\u00eb d\u00ebshtimit t\u00eb operacionit t\u00eb shkrimit, kodi p\u00ebrgjegj\u00ebs p\u00ebr pastrimin e simbolve t\u00eb shfaqura «*», rikthen t\u00eb dh\u00ebnat e disponueshme p\u00ebr madh\u00ebsin\u00eb e memorie, por nuk kthen n\u00eb vler\u00ebn e saj origjinale treguesin e pozicionit aktual n\u00eb memorie. Nj\u00eb faktor tjet\u00ebr q\u00eb kontribuon n\u00eb shfryt\u00ebzim \u00ebsht\u00eb mungesa e \u00e7aktivizimit automatik t\u00eb modit «pwfeedback» kur t\u00eb dh\u00ebnat vijn\u00eb jo nga terminali, por p\u00ebrmes rrjedh\u00ebs s\u00eb hyrjes (kjo dob\u00ebsi lejon krijimin e kushteve p\u00ebr ndodhin nj\u00eb gabim shkrimi, p\u00ebr shembull, n\u00eb sistemet me kanale unidirectionale kanale pa em\u00ebr<\/a><\/noindex> gabimi ndodh gjat\u00eb p\u00ebrpjekjes p\u00ebr t\u00eb shkruar jasht\u00eb fundi t\u00eb kanalit p\u00ebr lexim).<\/p>\n

Duke qen\u00eb se sulmuesi mund t\u00eb kontrolloj\u00eb plot\u00ebsisht mbishkrimin e t\u00eb dh\u00ebnave n\u00eb stack, nuk paraqet nj\u00eb v\u00ebshtir\u00ebsi krijimi i nj\u00eb eksploiti q\u00eb lejon rritjen e privilegjeve deri te p\u00ebrdoruesi root. Problemi mund t\u00eb shfryt\u00ebzohet nga \u00e7do p\u00ebrdorues, pavar\u00ebsisht nga t\u00eb drejtat p\u00ebr p\u00ebrdorimin e sudo dhe nga cil\u00ebsimet specifike t\u00eb p\u00ebrdoruesit n\u00eb sudoers. P\u00ebr t\u00eb bllokuar problemin, duhet t\u00eb siguroheni q\u00eb n\u00eb \/etc\/sudoers nuk ka t\u00eb dh\u00ebnash p\u00ebr opsionin «pwfeedback» dhe n\u00eb rast nevoje ta \u00e7aktivizoni at\u00eb («Defaults !pwfeedback»). P\u00ebr t\u00eb verifikuar pranin\u00eb e problemit, mund t\u00eb ekzekutoni kodin:<\/p>\n
