N\u00eb kodin e baz\u00ebs «ZFS on Linux<\/a><\/noindex>«, zhvilluar n\u00ebn egid\u00ebn e projektit OpenZFS<\/a><\/noindex> si nj\u00eb implementim referues t\u00eb ZFS, jan\u00eb miratuar<\/a><\/noindex> ndryshimet q\u00eb shtojn\u00eb mb\u00ebshtetje<\/a><\/noindex> t\u00eb sistemit operativ FreeBSD. Kodi i shtuar n\u00eb «ZFS on Linux» \u00ebsht\u00eb testuar n\u00eb deg\u00ebt FreeBSD 11 dhe 12. K\u00ebshtu, zhvilluesit e FreeBSD tani nuk kan\u00eb nevoj\u00eb t\u00eb mbajn\u00eb nj\u00eb deg\u00eb t\u00eb sinkronizuar t\u00eb vet\u00ebn «ZFS on Linux» dhe zhvillimi i t\u00eb gjitha ndryshimeve t\u00eb lidhura me FreeBSD do t\u00eb realizohet n\u00eb projektin kryesor. P\u00ebr m\u00eb tep\u00ebr, funksionaliteti n\u00eb FreeBSD i deg\u00ebs kryesore «ZFS on Linux» gjat\u00eb procesit t\u00eb zhvillimit do t\u00eb testohet n\u00eb nj\u00eb sistem t\u00eb integrimit t\u00eb vazhduesh\u00ebm. <\/p>\n

Kujtojm\u00eb se n\u00eb dhjetor 2018, zhvilluesit e FreeBSD dol\u00ebn me nism\u00ebn<\/a><\/noindex> kalimin n\u00eb realizimin ZFS t\u00eb projektit «ZFS on Linux<\/a><\/noindex>» (ZoL), rreth t\u00eb cilit \u00ebsht\u00eb p\u00ebrqendruar s\u00eb fundi gjith\u00eb aktiviteti i lidhur me zhvillimin e ZFS. Si arsye p\u00ebr migrimin u p\u00ebrmend stagnimi i kodit baz\u00eb ZFS nga projekti Illumos (fork i OpenSolaris), i cili m\u00eb par\u00eb ishte p\u00ebrdorur si baz\u00eb p\u00ebr transferimin e ndryshimeve t\u00eb lidhura me ZFS n\u00eb FreeBSD. Kontributi kryesor n\u00eb mb\u00ebshtetje t\u00eb kodit baz\u00eb ZFS n\u00eb Illumos deri tani \u00ebsht\u00eb dh\u00ebn\u00eb nga kompania Delphix, q\u00eb zhvillon sistemin operativ DelphixOS<\/a><\/noindex> (fork i Illumos). Dy vjet m\u00eb par\u00eb, kompania Delphix mori vendimin p\u00ebr t\u00eb kaluar n\u00eb «ZFS on Linux», q\u00eb \u00e7oi n\u00eb stagnimin e ZFS nga projekti Illumos dhe p\u00ebrqendrimin e gjith\u00eb aktiviteteve t\u00eb lidhura me zhvillimin n\u00eb projektin «ZFS on Linux», i cili tani konsiderohet si implementimi kryesor.
