Jan\u00eb publikuar azhurnime korrigjuese p\u00ebr deg\u00ebt e q\u00ebndrueshme t\u00eb serverit DNS BIND 9.11.28 dhe 9.16.12, si dhe p\u00ebr deg\u00ebn eksperimentale 9.17.10 q\u00eb \u00ebsht\u00eb n\u00eb zhvillim. N\u00eb l\u00ebshimet e reja \u00ebsht\u00eb eliminuar nj\u00eb dob\u00ebsi (CVE-2020-8625), e cila \u00e7on n\u00eb mbushjen e buferit dhe potencialisht mund t\u00eb \u00e7oj\u00eb n\u00eb ekzekutimin e kodit nga nj\u00eb sulmues. Nuk jan\u00eb gjetur prova t\u00eb ekzistenc\u00ebs s\u00eb eksploiteve funksionale deri tani. <\/p>\n

Problemi shkaktohet nga nj\u00eb gabim n\u00eb implementimin e mekanizmit SPNEGO (Mekanizmi i Negociat\u00ebs s\u00eb Mbrojtur dhe t\u00eb Thjesht\u00eb GSSAPI), i p\u00ebrdorur n\u00eb GSSAPI p\u00ebr t\u00eb negociuar at\u00eb q\u00eb p\u00ebrdoret nga klienti dhe server<\/a> metodat e mbrojtjes. Dob\u00ebsia ndikon n\u00eb sistemet, ku jan\u00eb t\u00eb aktivizuara cil\u00ebsimet p\u00ebr p\u00ebrdorimin e GSS-TSIG (p\u00ebr shembull, n\u00ebse p\u00ebrdoren cil\u00ebsimet tkey-gssapi-keytab dhe tkey-gssapi-credential). GSS-TSIG zakonisht p\u00ebrdoret n\u00eb ambiente t\u00eb p\u00ebrziera, ku BIND nd\u00ebrvepron me kontrolluesit e domenit<\/a> Active Directory, ose gjat\u00eb integrimit me Samba. N\u00eb konfigurimin e supozuar GSS-TSIG \u00ebsht\u00eb i \u00e7aktivizuar. <\/p>\n

Nj\u00eb zgjidhje alternative p\u00ebr bllokimin e problematik\u00ebs, e cila nuk k\u00ebrkon \u00e7aktivizimin e GSS-TSIG, quhet nd\u00ebrtimi i BIND-it pa mb\u00ebshtetje p\u00ebr mekanizmin SPNEGO, i cili mund t\u00eb \u00e7aktivizohet duke treguar gjat\u00eb ekzekutimit t\u00eb skriptit \"configure\" opsionin \"--disable-isc-spnego\". N\u00eb shp\u00ebrndarjet, problemi ende mbetet i pazgjidhur.
