Operacionet themelore binar\u00eb (AND, NAND, OR, NOR dhe XOR) n\u00eb k\u00ebto \u00e7ipa realizohen p\u00ebrmes porteve logjike (nd\u00ebrlidhjeve), q\u00eb kan\u00eb shum\u00eb hyrje dhe nj\u00eb dalje, ku konfigurimi i lidhjeve mund t\u00eb ndryshohet n\u00eb m\u00ebnyr\u00eb programore.      <\/p>\n<p>N\u00eb mesin e themeluesve t\u00eb organizat\u00ebs OSFPGA jan\u00eb disa studiues t\u00eb njohur t\u00eb teknologjive t\u00eb lidhura me FPGA, q\u00eb p\u00ebrfaq\u00ebsojn\u00eb kompani dhe projekte si EPFL, QuickLogic, Zero ASIC dhe GSG Group. N\u00ebn udh\u00ebheqjen e k\u00ebsaj organizate, do t\u00eb zhvillohet nj\u00eb set mjetesh t\u00eb hapura dhe falas p\u00ebr krijimin e shpejt\u00eb t\u00eb prototipave mbi baz\u00ebn e \u00e7ipave FPGA dhe mb\u00ebshtetje p\u00ebr mjetet e automatizimit t\u00eb projektimit t\u00eb elektronik\u00ebs (EDA). Organizata gjithashtu do t\u00eb mbik\u00ebqyr zhvillimin e standardeve t\u00eb hapura t\u00eb lidhura me FPGA, duke ofruar kompanive nj\u00eb platform\u00eb neutrale p\u00ebr ndarjen e p\u00ebrvojave dhe teknologjive.      <\/p>\n<p>Pritet q\u00eb fal\u00eb aktivitetit t\u00eb OSFPGA, kompanit\u00eb prodhuese t\u00eb \u00e7ipave t\u00eb jen\u00eb n\u00eb gjendje t\u00eb heqin dor\u00eb nga disa procese inxhinierike gjat\u00eb prodhimit t\u00eb FPGA, zhvilluesit e zgjidhjeve finale do t\u00eb ken\u00eb nj\u00eb stak programor t\u00eb gatsh\u00ebm dhe t\u00eb p\u00ebrshtatsh\u00ebm p\u00ebr FPGA dhe do t\u00eb vendoset bashk\u00ebpunimi p\u00ebr krijimin e arkitekturave t\u00eb reja me cil\u00ebsi t\u00eb lart\u00eb.
