labwc — en kompositmanager för Wayland med funktioner som påminner om Openbox. Kompatibel med teman för Openbox. I grunden används biblioteket wlroots.

Nyheter:

• Övergången till ett nytt bibliotek har genomförts wlroots 0.17.

• Support for the Wayland protocol has been added cursor-shape-v1, used to configure the appearance of the cursor by transmitting a series of cursor images.

• Support for the Wayland protocol has been added fractional-scale, which allows the compositor to transmit non-integer scaling values for surfaces, enabling the client to determine a more accurate size of buffers for wp_viewport objects compared to rounding scale information.

• Support for icons in window titles has been added.

• In the window switching interface, reverse scrolling has been implemented with the left arrow or up arrow key.

• Added configuration for osd.workspace-switcher.boxes.{width,height} to define the size of thumbnails in the virtual desktop switching interface.

• New actions VirtualOutputAdd and VirtualOutputRemove have been added for adding and removing virtual output devices.

• Added ResizeTo action to change the size.

• Added ToggleOmnipresent action and the "Always on Visible Workspace" option to keep content always on the active desktop.

• For applications using XWayland, the _NET_WORKAREA property has been set to understand the size of the free area on the screen not occupied by panels (for instance, used in Qt to calculate the size of pop-up menus).

Some bugs have also been fixed.
