Utgivningen av distributionen Tails 4.5 med stöd för UEFI Secure Boot

Presenteras release of the specialized distribution Tails 4.5 (The Amnesic Incognito Live System), based on a Debian package base and designed to ensure anonymous internet access. Anonymous access in Tails is provided by the Tor system. All connections, except for traffic through the Tor network, are blocked by the packet filter by default. User data during sessions is stored with encryption. For loading, it is prepared iso-avbild (1.1 GB), som kan köras i Live-läget.

Huvud för:

• Stödet för att starta i UEFI Secure Boot-läge har lagts till.
• Övergången från aufs till overlayfs har genomförts för att organisera skrivning ovanpå ett filsystem som körs i skrivskyddat läge.
• Tor Browser har uppdaterats till version 9.0.9, synkroniserad med utgåvan Firefox 68.7.0, som åtgärdar 5 sårbarheter, därav tre (CVE-2020-6825) potentiellt kan leda till kodexekvering vid öppning av speciellt utformade sidor.
• Övergången från testuppsättningen Sikuli till en kombination av OpenCV för bildmatchning, xdotool för muskontrollstester och libvirt för tangentbordsstyrningstester har genomförts.
