Release of 86Box 5.3 has been presented, which further develops the emulator for systems based on the x86 architecture, allowing the execution of old operating systems and applications, including those used in the early 1980s on IBM PC 5150 and IBM PS/2 computers. Accurate low-level emulation of systems is supported, starting from 8086 processors and ending with Intel Celeron Mendocino. The project's code is written in C and is released under the GPLv2 license.
