• Isolation of system APIs and various subsystems has been strengthened.
• WebGL support has been added to the browser.
• In the calendar-planner, the option to send invitations via ActiveSync has been added.
• The camera application now includes a one-touch photo zoom feature.
• In the clock app, timers, alarms, and stopwatches are organized into separate tabs.
  
• Document viewers, including PDF, spreadsheets, and presentations, have been redesigned. Support for opening plain text files has been added. Issues with RTF file encoding have been resolved.
• The email application has added an optional feature for signing messages with a digital signature using PGP.
• The settings now include an option (‘Settings > Gestures > Show hints and tips’) to disable the display of hints and recommendations.
• In the messaging app, the conversation thread has been redesigned, with a header displaying the recipient's data, and support for saving or editing an entry in the address book without leaving the app has been implemented.
  
• The People address book has been restructured, separating sections for searching, viewing, and editing contacts. The contact list has been reorganized in alphabetical order.
  
• Gränssnittet för att skicka och ta emot samtal har omarbetats och delas nu in i tre flikar: Dialer, History och People. • Bluetooth-stacken Bluez har uppdaterats till version 5.50.
