Den nya versionen \u00e4r anm\u00e4rkningsv\u00e4rd f\u00f6r sitt byte till paketbasen Debian 11 \"Bullseye\". Live-versioner och installations-ISO-bilder har f\u00f6rberetts f\u00f6r arkitekturerna AMD64, i386, armel, armhf, arm64 och ppc64el.       <\/p>\n<p>Inom ramen f\u00f6r projektet har cirka 400 Debian-paket skapats som modifierats f\u00f6r att eliminera bindningar till systemd, rebranding eller anpassningar f\u00f6r Devuan-infrastrukturens egenskaper. Tv\u00e5 paket (devuan-baseconf, jenkins-debian-glue-buildenv-devuan) f\u00f6rekommer endast i Devuan och \u00e4r kopplade till konfigurationen av repositorys och arbetet med byggsystemet. I \u00f6vrigt \u00e4r Devuan helt kompatibel med Debian och kan anv\u00e4ndas som grund f\u00f6r att skapa specialanpassade Debian-versioner utan systemd. Devuan-specifika paket kan laddas ner fr\u00e5n repositoryn packages.devuan.org.         <\/p>\n<p>Standardarbetsbordet \u00e4r baserat p\u00e5 Xfce och displayhanteraren Slim. KDE, MATE, Cinnamon, LXQt och LXDE finns tillg\u00e4ngliga f\u00f6r installation. Ist\u00e4llet f\u00f6r systemd levereras ett klassiskt init-system med SysVinit samt alternativt openrc och runit. Det finns m\u00f6jlighet att arbeta utan D-Bus, vilket g\u00f6r det m\u00f6jligt att skapa minimalistiska skrivbordsinstallationer baserade p\u00e5 f\u00f6nsterhanterarna blackbox, fluxbox, fvwm, fvwm-crystal och openbox. F\u00f6r n\u00e4tverkskonfiguration erbjuds en variant av NetworkManager som inte \u00e4r kopplad till systemd.
