Till skillnad fr\u00e5n Glade erbjuder Cambalache st\u00f6d f\u00f6r flera anv\u00e4ndargr\u00e4nssnitt inom samma projekt. Funktionellt kan Cambalache 0.8.0 j\u00e4mf\u00f6ras med Glade. Koden \u00e4r skriven i Python och levereras under GPLv2-licensen.      <\/p>\n<p>Cambalache \u00e4r oberoende av GtkBuilder och GObject, men erbjuder en datamodell som motsvarar GObject-typers system. Datamodellen kan importera och exportera flera gr\u00e4nssnitt samtidigt, st\u00f6der objekt, egenskaper och signaler fr\u00e5n GtkBuilder, tillhandah\u00e5ller en \u00e5ngra\/g\u00f6ra om-hantering (Undo \/ Redo) och m\u00f6jlighet att komprimera kommandons historia. F\u00f6r att generera datamodellen fr\u00e5n gir-filer finns verktyget cambalache-db, och f\u00f6r att generera GObject-klasser fr\u00e5n datamodellens tabeller finns verktyget db-codegen.    <\/p>\n<p>Gr\u00e4nssnittet kan genereras baserat p\u00e5 GTK 3 och GTK 4, beroende p\u00e5 den version som anges i projektet. F\u00f6r att s\u00e4kerst\u00e4lla st\u00f6d f\u00f6r olika typer av GTK skapas arbetsytan med hj\u00e4lp av backend Broadway, vilket m\u00f6jligg\u00f6r rendering av GTK-bibliotekets utdata i ett webbl\u00e4sarf\u00f6nster.
