Projektet LibreSSL fokuserar p\u00e5 kvalitativt st\u00f6d f\u00f6r SSL\/TLS-protokoll genom att ta bort on\u00f6dig funktionalitet, l\u00e4gga till ytterligare skydds\u00e5tg\u00e4rder och genomf\u00f6ra en omfattande reng\u00f6ring och omarbetning av kodbasen. Utg\u00e5van av LibreSSL 3.6.0 betraktas som experimentell, i vilken funktioner utvecklas som kommer ing\u00e5 i OpenBSD 7.2.     <\/p>\n<p>Funktioner i LibreSSL 3.6.0:   <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> API EVP f\u00f6r funktionen att generera nycklar HKDF (HMAC Key Derivation Function) har portats fr\u00e5n OpenSSL.\n<li class=\"l\"> API har lagts till f\u00f6r att st\u00e4lla in och h\u00e4mta s\u00e4kerhetsniv\u00e5er \u2014 SSL_{,CTX}_{get,set}_security_level().\n<li class=\"l\"> Experimentellt st\u00f6d f\u00f6r API f\u00f6r QUIC-protokollet har lagts till, ursprungligen implementerat i BoringSSL.\n<li class=\"l\"> Inledande st\u00f6d f\u00f6r verifiering av TS ESSCertIDv2 har lagts till.\n<li class=\"l\"> Baillie-Pomerenza-Selfridge-Wogstaff (Baillie-PSW) enkelhetstest har anv\u00e4nts ist\u00e4llet f\u00f6r Miller-Rabin-testet.\n<li class=\"l\"> En betydande intern omarbetning har genomf\u00f6rts. Resurskr\u00e4vande kontroller enligt RFC 3779 har tagits bort vid verifiering av certifikat. Dekodaren och tidsparsingarna f\u00f6r ASN.1 har omarbetats.
