Projektets kod \u00e4r skriven i Rust och distribueras under MIT-licens.      <\/p>\n<p>M\u00f6jligheten att k\u00f6ra en applikation p\u00e5 olika plattformar m\u00f6jligg\u00f6rs genom att koden kompileras till l\u00e5g niv\u00e5 WebAssembly-intermedi\u00e4r kod, som kan k\u00f6ras p\u00e5 alla operativsystem eller integreras i program skrivna i andra programmeringsspr\u00e5k. Programmen utg\u00f6r l\u00e4tta containrar d\u00e4r WebAssembly-pseudokod k\u00f6rs. Dessa containrar \u00e4r oberoende av operativsystemet och kan inneh\u00e5lla kod som ursprungligen skrivits i valfritt programmeringsspr\u00e5k. Emscripten-verktyget kan anv\u00e4ndas f\u00f6r kompilering till WebAssembly.
