Alla applikationer och anv\u00e4ndarkomponenter f\u00f6resl\u00e5s k\u00f6ras inte i en blandad milj\u00f6, utan i separata containrar eller i <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/sv\/vps\/abuzoustojchivye-vps\/\"   title=\"virtuella maskiner\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"4272\">virtuella maskiner<\/a>, som k\u00f6rs ovanp\u00e5 \u00abhost OS\u00bb och \u00e4r isolerade fr\u00e5n varandra. Denna organisation kommer att m\u00f6jligg\u00f6ra f\u00f6r anv\u00e4ndare att fokusera p\u00e5 applikationerna och abstrahera arbetsfl\u00f6dena, och separera dem fr\u00e5n den l\u00e5gniv\u00e5 systemmilj\u00f6n och h\u00e5rdvaran.      <\/p>\n<p>Som grund f\u00f6r \"host OS\" anv\u00e4nds produkten SLE Micro, baserad p\u00e5 projekten MicroOS. F\u00f6r centraliserad hantering erbjuds konfigurationshanteringssystemen Salt (f\u00f6rinstallerad) och Ansible (valfri). F\u00f6r att k\u00f6ra isolerade containrar finns verktygen Podman och K3s (Kubernetes) tillg\u00e4ngliga. Bland de systemkomponenter som har flyttats till containrar finns yast2, podman, k3s, cockpit, GDM (GNOME Display Manager) och KVM.     <\/p>\n<p>Bland funktionerna i systemmilj\u00f6n n\u00e4mns anv\u00e4ndningen av diskryptering som standard (FDE, Full Disk Encryption) med m\u00f6jlighet att lagra nycklar i TPM. Rotpartitionen monteras i skrivskyddat l\u00e4ge och f\u00f6r\u00e4ndras inte under drift. Det finns en mekanism f\u00f6r atom\u00e4ra uppdateringar i milj\u00f6n. Till skillnad fr\u00e5n atom\u00e4ra uppdateringar baserade p\u00e5 ostree och snap, som anv\u00e4nds i Fedora och Ubuntu, anv\u00e4nds i ALP standardpakethanteraren och snapshots i Btrfs-filsystemet ist\u00e4llet f\u00f6r att bygga separata atom\u00e4ra bilder och distribuera ytterligare infrastruktur f\u00f6r leverans.     <\/p>\n<p>Det finns en anpassningsbar automatisk uppdateringsinst\u00e4llning (till exempel kan man aktivera automatisk installation av endast kritiska s\u00e5rbarhetsfixar eller \u00e5terg\u00e5 till manuell bekr\u00e4ftelse av uppdateringar). F\u00f6r att uppdatera Linux-k\u00e4rnan utan omstart och avbrott st\u00f6djs livsl\u00e4pp (live patches). F\u00f6r att uppr\u00e4tth\u00e5lla systemets livskraft (self-healing) anv\u00e4nds Btrfs-snapshots f\u00f6r att fastst\u00e4lla det senaste stabila tillst\u00e5ndet (om avvikelser uppt\u00e4cks efter uppdateringar eller inst\u00e4llnings\u00e4ndringar \u00e5terst\u00e4lls systemet automatiskt till det f\u00f6reg\u00e5ende tillst\u00e5ndet).    <\/p>\n<p>Plattformen anv\u00e4nder en flerversionsprogramvarustack \u2014 genom anv\u00e4ndningen av containrar kan olika versioner av verktyg och applikationer anv\u00e4ndas samtidigt. Till exempel kan applikationer som har olika versioner av Python, Java och Node.js som beroenden k\u00f6ras, vilket separerar inkompatibla beroenden. De grundl\u00e4ggande beroendena levereras i form av BCI-paket (Base Container Images). Anv\u00e4ndaren kan skapa, uppdatera och ta bort programvarustackar utan att p\u00e5verka andra milj\u00f6er.      <\/p>\n<p>Huvudsakliga f\u00f6r\u00e4ndringar i den andra prototypen av ALP:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Installer D-Installer har anv\u00e4nts, d\u00e4r anv\u00e4ndargr\u00e4nssnittet \u00e4r separerat fr\u00e5n de interna komponenterna i YaST och det \u00e4r m\u00f6jligt att anv\u00e4nda olika frontend:ar, inklusive en frontend f\u00f6r att hantera installationen via webbgr\u00e4nssnittet. Grundgr\u00e4nssnittet f\u00f6r installationshantering \u00e4r byggt med webbteknologier och inkluderar en hanterare som ger \u00e5tkomst till D-Bus-anrop via HTTP, samt sj\u00e4lva webbgr\u00e4nssnittet. Webbgr\u00e4nssnittet \u00e4r skrivet i JavaScript med hj\u00e4lp av React-ramverket och PatternFly-komponenter.
