Release of the specialized distribution Tails 5.13 (The Amnesic Incognito Live System) has been formed, based on the Debian package base and intended for anonymous internet access. Anonymous access in Tails is provided by the Tor system. All connections, except for traffic over the Tor network, are blocked by default by the packet filter. For storing user data in saved mode between sessions, encryption is used. An iso-image has been prepared for download, capable of operating in Live mode, with a size of 1.2 GB. <\/p>\n

For new permanent storage and encrypted partitions, the LUKS2 format is used by default, which employs more reliable crypto algorithms. A special toolkit will be provided in June for converting existing permanent and encrypted partitions based on LUKS1 to LUKS2.\n
The set includes the curl utility for retrieving and sending data over the network using various protocols. By default, all requests are made through the Tor network.\n
Tor Browser has been updated to version 12.0.6. <\/ul>\n
