Denna version \u00e4r fokuserad p\u00e5 att omarbeta kodbasen f\u00f6r att \u00f6ka s\u00e4kerheten (f\u00f6r\u00e5ldrad kod har rensats, metoder har anv\u00e4nts f\u00f6r att f\u00f6rhindra attacker och skyddade funktioner har implementerats f\u00f6r att hantera minne och str\u00e4ngar). Projektet utvecklas under ledning av Eric Raymond, med bidrag fr\u00e5n vissa utvecklare av det ursprungliga NTP Classic, ingenj\u00f6rer fr\u00e5n Hewlett Packard och Akamai Technologies, samt fr\u00e5n projekten GPSD och RTEMS. K\u00e4llkoden f\u00f6r NTPsec distribueras under BSD-, MIT- och NTP-licenser.    <\/p>\n<p>Bland f\u00f6r\u00e4ndringarna i den nya versionen:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Justeringen av f\u00e4ltpaketen f\u00f6r styrprotokoll Mode 6 har \u00e4ndrats, vilket kan leda till bristande kompatibilitet med klassisk NTP. Protokollet Mode 6 anv\u00e4nds f\u00f6r att \u00f6verf\u00f6ra statusinformation. <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/sv\/server\/dts-los-angeles\/\"   title=\"servern\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"3615\">servern<\/a> och f\u00f6r att \u00e4ndra serverns beteende i realtid.\n<li class=\"l\"> I ntpq anv\u00e4nds som standard AES-krypteringsalgoritmen.\n<li class=\"l\"> Med hj\u00e4lp av Seccomp-mekanismen blockeras felaktiga namn p\u00e5 systemanrop.\n<li class=\"l\"> En timvis \u00e5terst\u00e4llning av viss statistik har lagts till.
