Denna uppdatering av den tidigare versionen kommer att st\u00f6djas parallellt med RHEL 9.x fram till 2029. Installationsbyggnader har f\u00f6rberetts f\u00f6r olika arkitekturer, men \u00e4r endast tillg\u00e4ngliga f\u00f6r registrerade anv\u00e4ndare av Red Hat Customer Portal.<\/p>\n<p>RHEL 8.10 \u00e4r den senaste versionen i 8.x-grenen, som har bildats under fullst\u00e4ndigt st\u00f6d, inklusive funktionella f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttringar. Fr\u00e5n och med den 31 maj 2024 kommer 8.x-grenen att g\u00e5 in i underh\u00e5llsstadiet, d\u00e4r fokus kommer att ligga p\u00e5 buggfixar och s\u00e4kerhets\u00e5tg\u00e4rder.<\/p>\n<p>Denna utg\u00e5va inneh\u00e5ller nya versioner av kompileringsverktyg och utvecklarverktyg, samt uppdaterade server- och systempaket. Fullt st\u00f6d f\u00f6r teknologin f\u00f6r att skapa isolerade enclaves, Intel SGX, har s\u00e4kerst\u00e4llts. Drivrutinen IDXD har stabiliserats f\u00f6r att aktivera datatransferacceleratorer integrerade i Intel CPU:er. St\u00f6d f\u00f6r l\u00f6senordshashning med bcrypt-algoritmen och mycket mer har lagts till.<\/p>\n<p>Det \u00e4r viktigt att notera att k\u00e4llkoden f\u00f6r RPM-paketen av RHEL 8 nu inte distribueras offentligt, men f\u00f6rblir tillg\u00e4nglig f\u00f6r f\u00f6retagets kunder genom den privata delen av webbplatsen.
