The distribution is built on a Debian package base and includes fresh builds of Wayland libraries (a snapshot from the master branch), the Weston compositing server, and preconfigured environments for working on top of Wayland: KDE, GNOME, Wayfire (with MATE components), Sway, LXQt, and Xfce. The environment selection is made through the login manager menu, allowing for launching a shell from an already running environment in the form of a nested session. An ISO image of 1.7 GB is available for download. <\/p>\n
The distribution includes fresh versions of libraries such as Clutter, SDL, GTK, Qt, FreeGLUT, GLFW, KDE Frameworks, and Gstreamer, built with Wayland support, as well as the Xwayland component, which allows running conventional X applications in an environment formed using the compositor. servern<\/a> Weston.
