Till skillnad fr\u00e5n GPLv3-lisensen inneh\u00e5ller AGPLv3 ytterligare begr\u00e4nsningar f\u00f6r applikationer som tillhandah\u00e5ller n\u00e4tverksservicetj\u00e4nster. Vi p\u00e5minner om att projektet Elasticsearch \u00e5r 2021 \u00f6vergick till SSPL (Server Side Public License), som bygger p\u00e5 texten fr\u00e5n AGPLv3, med ytterligare krav p\u00e5 att leveransen under SSPL-licensen omfattar inte bara koden f\u00f6r sj\u00e4lva applikationen utan \u00e4ven k\u00e4llkoden f\u00f6r alla komponenter som \u00e4r involverade i tillhandah\u00e5llandet av molntj\u00e4nsten. SSPL-licensen fick inte status som \u00f6ppen p\u00e5 grund av diskriminering av vissa kategorier av anv\u00e4ndare (molntj\u00e4nstleverant\u00f6rer).
