Programmet ratarmount (random access tar mount) \u00e4r avsett f\u00f6r att montera arkivfiler i filsystemet och g\u00f6r det m\u00f6jligt att montera inte bara tar-filer (komprimerade bz2, gz, xz eller zstd) via FUSE, utan \u00e4ven zip och rar. Den nya versionen 1.0.0 finns tillg\u00e4nglig f\u00f6r installation fr\u00e5n pip och AppImage.<\/p>\n

Det finns flera egenskaper som skiljer ratarmount fr\u00e5n det befintliga archivemount. F\u00f6r det f\u00f6rsta \u00e4r \u00e5tkomsten till de monterade filerna faktiskt snabb, oavsett arkivets storlek. Till exempel pratar vi om millisekunders f\u00f6rdr\u00f6jning med ratarmount f\u00f6r arkiv p\u00e5 100 GB j\u00e4mf\u00f6rt med timmars f\u00f6rdr\u00f6jning med archivemount. Dessutom har ratarmount en parallelliserad bz2- och xz-dekoder och erbjuder \u00e4ven avancerade funktioner som skapande av en indexfil f\u00f6r snabbare framtida \u00e5tkomst, sammansl\u00e5ende montering, l\u00e4nkad montering och till och med godtycklig djup rekursiv montering.<\/p>\n
