Korrigerade utg\u00e5vor av de st\u00f6dda versionerna av mailservern Postfix 3.x publicerades \u2013 3.10.7, 3.9.8, 3.8.14 och 3.7.19. I de nya versionerna har problemet med byggandet fr\u00e5n k\u00e4llkod \u00e5tg\u00e4rdats, vilket uppst\u00e5r i de nya versionerna av Linux-distributioner som har \u00f6verg\u00e5tt till kompilatorer GCC 15, som som standard anv\u00e4nder C23-standarden. <\/p>\n

Problemet \u00e4r att den nya C23-standarden definierar det reserverade nyckelordet \"bool\", som \u00e4r kopplat till en typ med storlek 1 byte. I Postfix-koden definieras en egen typ \"bool\", kopplad till typen \"int\", som har storleken 4 byte. Att f\u00f6rs\u00f6ka bygga Postfix med kompilatorn i C23-l\u00e4ge resulterar i ett fel p\u00e5 grund av omdefinieringen av typen \"bool\". I den under utveckling liggande versionen Postfix 3.11 implementeras st\u00f6d f\u00f6r den nya typen \"bool\". Eftersom \u00e4ndringarna kopplade till st\u00f6det f\u00f6r den nya typen \"bool\" omfattar m\u00e5nga rader kod har man beslutat att inte f\u00f6ra \u00f6ver dem till stabila versioner, utan ist\u00e4llet l\u00e4gga till kompileringsflaggan \"-std=gnu17\" vid anrop av gcc och clang f\u00f6r att anv\u00e4nda C17-standarden.
