Projektet \u00e4r inriktat p\u00e5 mosaik (tiling) f\u00f6nsterhantering, men st\u00f6der \u00e4ven klassisk friformsf\u00f6nsterhantering, gruppering av f\u00f6nster i flikar, pseudomosaikl\u00e4ge och helsk\u00e4rmsvisning av f\u00f6nster. Koden \u00e4r skriven i C++ och distribueras under BSD-licensen.    <\/p>\n<p>Det finns m\u00f6jligheter att skapa visuellt tilltalande gr\u00e4nssnitt: gradienter i f\u00f6nsterramningen, suddighet i bakgrunden, animerade effekter och skuggor. F\u00f6r att ut\u00f6ka funktionaliteten kan plugins kopplas in, och f\u00f6r extern styrning av arbetet finns det IPC baserat p\u00e5 sockets. Konfigurationen sker genom en konfigurationsfil, d\u00e4r \u00e4ndringar uppt\u00e4ckts omedelbart utan att beh\u00f6va starta om. Bland funktionerna finns: dynamiskt skapade virtuella skrivbord; l\u00e4gen f\u00f6r placering av element p\u00e5 sk\u00e4rmen; global hantering av snabbkommandon; gestkontroll p\u00e5 pekplattan\/touchscreen.    <\/p>\n<p>I den nya versionen:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> En valfri m\u00f6jlighet att anv\u00e4nda spr\u00e5k Lua f\u00f6r att anpassa skrivbordet Hyprland har lagts till. Konfigurationen p\u00e5 Lua-spr\u00e5ket definieras i filen hyprland.lua; om den inte finns anv\u00e4nds det gamla formatet hyprland.conf.\n<li class=\"l\"> API:t Layout har lagts till, vilket m\u00f6jligg\u00f6r att definiera egna mosaikf\u00f6nsterlayout i konfigurationsfilen med hj\u00e4lp av Lua-spr\u00e5ket.
