Projektet AlmaLinux har meddelat om certifiering av distributionen enligt Common Criteria EAL1 (Evaluation Assurance Level 1). Certifikatet har erh\u00e5llits f\u00f6r versionen AlmaLinux 9.2. EAL1 \u00e4r den f\u00f6rsta niv\u00e5n av certifiering och intygar att oberoende tester av den angivna funktionaliteten har genomf\u00f6rts. EAL1 bekr\u00e4ftar att funktionaliteten har verifierats och \u00e4r avsedd f\u00f6r omr\u00e5den d\u00e4r s\u00e4kerhetshot inte \u00e4r allvarliga. Certifiering kan kr\u00e4vas f\u00f6r anv\u00e4ndning av AlmaLinux inom finansinstitutioner, statliga och milit\u00e4ra myndigheter i 36 l\u00e4nder.
