Som standard anv\u00e4nds filsystemet ZFS. B\u00e5de Live-l\u00e4ge och installation p\u00e5 h\u00e5rddisk st\u00f6ds (anv\u00e4nder en egen installer ginstall, skriven i Python). Startavbilder har skapats f\u00f6r x86_64-arkitekturen.<\/p>\n<p>I den nya versionen:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> En ny installerare har implementerats. Installationsprocessen \u00e4r uppdelad i tv\u00e5 steg: Install Station f\u00f6r installation av systemkomponenter p\u00e5 en lagringsenhet och Setup Station f\u00f6r konfiguration och skapande av anv\u00e4ndare vid f\u00f6rsta uppstart av det nya systemet. Nya sidor f\u00f6r konfiguration av ZFS och n\u00e4tverket har lagts till. St\u00f6d f\u00f6r full diskkryptering med hj\u00e4lp av infrastrukturen GELI har inf\u00f6rts.\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00d6verg\u00e5ngen till FreeBSD 15.1 har genomf\u00f6rts (distrbutioinet baserades tidigare p\u00e5 FreeBSD 15.0).\n<li class=\"l\"> Startmenyn \u00e4r som standard dold, men visas nu efter att valfri tangent trycks ned. Ett alternativ har lagts till i startmenyn f\u00f6r att visa startloggen.\n<li class=\"l\"> Applikationen Backup Station har omd\u00f6pts till BE Station och kan anv\u00e4ndas f\u00f6r att skapa startmilj\u00f6er.\n<li class=\"l\"> I applikationen Update Station har uppdateringar implementerats i startmilj\u00f6n.\n<li class=\"l\"> I NetworkMgr f\u00f6r att hantera Wi-Fi har verktyget wpa_cli anv\u00e4nts och inst\u00e4llningar f\u00f6r tr\u00e5dl\u00f6sa n\u00e4tverk sparas endast efter en lyckad anslutning.\n<li class=\"l\"> I programhanteraren Software Station har st\u00f6d f\u00f6r att s\u00f6ka utan att ta h\u00e4nsyn till teckenens versaler lagts till.\n<li class=\"l\"> ISO-bildens storlek har minskats genom att ta bort f\u00f6r\u00e5ldrade och serverpaket fr\u00e5n grundsystemet:
