Bland annat erbjuder ramverket utvecklingsverktyg baserade p\u00e5 MVC-paradigmet (Model View Controller), en skikt f\u00f6r databasinteraktion, en s\u00f6kmotor byggd p\u00e5 Lucene, komponenter f\u00f6r internationell anpassning (I18N) och ett API f\u00f6r autentisering. <\/p>\n<p>Projektet har \u00f6verl\u00e4mnats till Linux Foundation av f\u00f6retagen Zend Technologies och Rogue Wave Software, som har gjort betydande bidrag till dess utveckling. Linux Foundation betraktas som en neutral plattform f\u00f6r fortsatt utveckling av Zend Framework, vilket kommer att hj\u00e4lpa till att attrahera nya deltagare. Namnbytet beror p\u00e5 en \u00f6nskan att frig\u00f6ra sig fr\u00e5n den kommersiella varum\u00e4rkets koppling till Zend f\u00f6r att b\u00e4ttre positionera ramverket som ett projekt som drivs av gemenskapen. <\/p>\n<p>De tekniska besluten i det nya projektet kommer att \u00f6vervakas av en styrkommitt\u00e9 TSC (Technical Steering Committee), som \u00e4r sammansatt av medlemmar fr\u00e5n Zend Framework Community Review Team.
