Implementeringen b\u00f6rjade egentligen redan 2011, och vid 2013 hade vi 10 s\u00e5dana enheter \u00f6ver hela Ryssland. Fr\u00e5gan som uppstod var: hur organiserar man multipunktkonferenser? I teorin kunde en befintlig HDX 7000 med r\u00e4tt licens (och vi hade den) koppla ihop upp till 4 punkter, och tv\u00e5 enheter kunde koppla upp till 8 punkter (jag kommer att t\u00e4nka p\u00e5 sk\u00e4mtet om en markerare och tv\u00e5 markerare), men det var inte helt klart hur man skulle hantera anv\u00e4ndare med b\u00e4rbara datorer och hur man skulle l\u00f6sa broar utan att \u00f6verbelasta kommunikationskanalerna.<\/p>\n<h2>Vi b\u00f6rjar g\u00f6ra gott<\/h2>\n<p>\nS\u00e5, \u00e5r 2013 var vi redo att k\u00f6pa RMX1500 med 45 licenser. Varf\u00f6r s\u00e5 m\u00e5nga? Polycoms system \u00e4r smart \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 licens != 1 deltagare<\/li>\n<li>1 licens = 1 str\u00f6m av en viss bredd.<\/li>\n<li>R\u00f6st = 1 str\u00f6m. <\/li>\n<li>Video med SD-kvalitet = 1,5 str\u00f6mmar eller licenser<\/li>\n<li>HD = 3 licenser. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\nS\u00e5 totalt m\u00f6jliggjorde 45 licenser att vi kunde koppla ihop upp till 15 m\u00f6tesrum (i ett eller olika rum). Vi kunde ocks\u00e5 ansluta till en annan (extern) RMX och koppla ihop upp till 30 anv\u00e4ndare med hj\u00e4lp av den patenterade kaskadteknologin.<\/p>\n<p>Jag var tvungen att g\u00e5 p\u00e5 en utbildning, eftersom det var uppenbart att l\u00e4sa igenom n\u00e4stan 1000 sidor av administrat\u00f6rshandboken skulle ta tid. Jag vill n\u00e4mna att det \u00e5r 2013 redan var sv\u00e5rt att hitta Internet Explorer 8...<\/p>\n<h2>Lite om lathet<\/h2>\n<p>\nUnder the training, everything was explained in detail and scenarios were described; the integrator performed their task. However, the problem is that the scenarios for courts, emergencies, and banks are not quite suitable for a young and rapidly growing organization that needs things done immediately and wonders why they are not ready.<\/p>\n<p>Since I don't have a passion for ongoing support, I did what classic integrators would find horrifying. I simply created 30 rooms of all tastes and colors\u2014with different layouts, participant numbers, and quality\u2014and printed them out for the business's meeting rooms, added them into the catalogs of all HDX, and made them available for quick dialing. (By the way, our employees managed this\u2026 but dialing *59# to restrict access for outsiders turned out to be significantly more challenging).<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the following was done: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>translation into Russian of all IVRs (oh yes, the vendor was not ready to provide them) and it turned out that\u2014believe it or not\u2014it was mono 8bit wav<\/li>\n<li>replacement of welcome pages<\/li>\n<li>documentation: for administrators, service specialists, and users (on 1 sheet with pictures)<\/li>\n<li>Backup of the full configuration<\/li>\n<li>A contract for support and updates for 3 years<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\nEverything was collected in a folder and successfully handed over to operations<\/p>\n<h2>Sammanfattning<\/h2>\n<p>\nPolycom RMX1500 experienced:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A video conference with a major bank (it was quite amusing when the administrator of the bank's video conferencing system, hearing my voice, said, 'I asked to connect me with a technical specialist.' In the end, everything worked out, but we had to adjust the MTU as the content (desktop) wasn't passing through)<\/li>\n<li>2 data center relocations (including intercity ones in winter)<\/li>\n<li>A failed video card and a complete reset (in 2016. The funniest part is that the 2012 backup helped)<\/li>\n<li>An overflowing log<\/li>\n<li>4 hardware administrators and the operations service (the organizational structure changed)<\/li>\n<li>3 changes of addressing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\nIn 6 years, we made only 1 change\u2014a connection to CMA4000, which came back to bite us in 2019, but I will talk about this in part 2. <\/p>\n<h3>P.S.<\/h3>\n<p>\nPolycom har en mycket bra serie h\u00e5rdvara och programvara f\u00f6r det.
