Projektet LibreSSL fokuserar p\u00e5 att ge kvalitativt st\u00f6d f\u00f6r SSL\/TLS-protokoll genom att ta bort \u00f6verfl\u00f6dig funktionalitet, l\u00e4gga till extra skyddsmekanismer och genomf\u00f6ra en betydande st\u00e4dning och omstrukturering av kodbasen. Utgivningen av LibreSSL 3.0.0 betraktas som experimentell, d\u00e4r funktioner utvecklas som kommer att ing\u00e5 i OpenBSD 6.6. Den betydande versions\u00e4ndringen \u00e4r relaterad till anv\u00e4ndningen av decimalnummerering (efter 2.9 f\u00f6ljer version 3.0).<\/p>\n<p>Funktioner i LibreSSL 3.0.0: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li
