Storleken p\u00e5 den bootbara <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/project-trident.org\/void\/Trident-netinstall-x86_64.iso\">ISO-avbildningen<\/a><\/noindex> 523MB. Vi p\u00e5minner om att Trident-projektet i oktober 2019 <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=51692\">meddelade<\/a><\/noindex> gjorde en migration till Linux, vilket berodde p\u00e5 att det inte var m\u00f6jligt att p\u00e5 annat s\u00e4tt bli av med vissa problem som begr\u00e4nsade anv\u00e4ndarna av distributionen, s\u00e5som kompatibilitet med h\u00e5rdvaran, st\u00f6d f\u00f6r moderna kommunikationsstandarder och tillg\u00e5ng till paket.  <\/p>\n<p>I versionen anv\u00e4nds ZFS p\u00e5 rotpartitionen med m\u00f6jlighet att \u00e5terst\u00e4lla den bootbara milj\u00f6n med hj\u00e4lp av ZFS-snapshots. F\u00f6r varje anv\u00e4ndare skapas en separat ZFS-dataset f\u00f6r hemkatalogen (det g\u00e5r att manipulera snapshots av hemkatalogen utan root-r\u00e4ttigheter), vilket s\u00e4kerst\u00e4ller kryptering av data i anv\u00e4ndarkataloger.<br \/>\nDet \u00e4r m\u00f6jligt att arbeta p\u00e5 system med EFI och BIOS. St\u00f6det f\u00f6r kryptering av v\u00e4xlingspartitionen \u00e4r aktiverat. Paketst\u00f6det \u00e4r s\u00e4kerst\u00e4llt, <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/project-trident\/trident-core\/commit\/89153e99614b2dbc387bfdc87d96be82350e4913\">samlat<\/a><\/noindex> b\u00e5de f\u00f6r systembiblioteket glibc och f\u00f6r musl (det g\u00e5r att v\u00e4lja mellan glibc eller musl).<\/p>\n<p>Installationsprogrammet erbjuder fyra installationsniv\u00e5er, som skiljer sig \u00e5t beroende p\u00e5 den erbjudna paketlistan:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Void \u2014 grundpaketet Void plus paket f\u00f6r att st\u00f6dja ZFS;\n<li class=\"l\"> Server \u2014 paket f\u00f6r att arbeta i konsoll\u00e4ge och ytterligare tj\u00e4nster f\u00f6r servrar (brandv\u00e4gg, cron, autofs, wireguard etc.);\n<li class=\"l\"> Lite Desktop \u2014 en minimal skrivbordsmilj\u00f6 baserad p\u00e5 skrivbordet <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/lumina-desktop.org\/\">Lumina<\/a><\/noindex>;\n<li class=\"l\"> Full Desktop \u2014 en fullst\u00e4ndig skrivbordsmilj\u00f6 baserad p\u00e5 Lumina med ytterligare kontors-, kommunikations- och multimedia-applikationer.\n<\/ul>\n<p>Genom \u00f6verg\u00e5ngen till Void Linux avser Trident att ut\u00f6ka st\u00f6det f\u00f6r grafikkort och ge anv\u00e4ndarna mer moderna grafiska drivrutiner, samt f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttra st\u00f6det f\u00f6r ljudkort, ljudstr\u00f6mning, l\u00e4gga till st\u00f6d f\u00f6r ljud\u00f6verf\u00f6ring via HDMI, f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttra st\u00f6det f\u00f6r tr\u00e5dl\u00f6sa n\u00e4tverksadapter och enheter med Bluetooth-gr\u00e4nssnitt, erbjuda nyare versioner av program och p\u00e5skynda startprocessen samt genomf\u00f6ra st\u00f6d f\u00f6r hybridinstallationer p\u00e5 UEFI-system. <\/p>\n<p>Vi p\u00e5minner om att distributionen <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/voidlinux.org\/\">Void Linux<\/a><\/noindex> f\u00f6respr\u00e5kar en kontinuerlig uppdateringscykel f\u00f6r mjukvaruversioner (rolling updates, utan s\u00e4rskilda utg\u00e5vor av distributionen). Projektet anv\u00e4nder sig av systemhanteraren <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/smarden.org\/runit\/\">runit<\/a><\/noindex>, anv\u00e4nder en egen paketf\u00f6rvaltare <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/void-linux\/xbps\">xbps<\/a><\/noindex> och ett system f\u00f6r byggnation av paket <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/void-linux\/void-packages\">xbps-src<\/a><\/noindex>. Som standardbibliotek ist\u00e4llet f\u00f6r Glibc finns m\u00f6jlighet att anv\u00e4nda <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=39365\">Musl<\/a><\/noindex>. Ist\u00e4llet f\u00f6r OpenSSL anv\u00e4nds LibreSSL. De system som utvecklas i Void <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/void-linux\/\">sprids<\/a><\/noindex> under BSD-licensen.<\/p>\n<p>Projektet Trident utvecklar en anv\u00e4ndarv\u00e4nlig grafisk distributionsversion som p\u00e5minner om \u00e4ldre versioner av PC-BSD och TrueOS, och som ursprungligen byggdes p\u00e5 teknologier fr\u00e5n FreeBSD och TrueOS, anv\u00e4nder filsystemet ZFS och initieringssystemet OpenRC. Projektet grundades av utvecklare som var involverade i arbetet med TrueOS och positionerades som ett relaterat projekt (TrueOS \u2014 en plattform f\u00f6r att skapa distributioner, medan Trident \u00e4r en distribution f\u00f6r slutkonsumenter baserad p\u00e5 denna plattform). Av de aktuella distributionerna byggda p\u00e5 TrueOS finns fortfarande projektet  <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=52235\">GhostBSD<\/a><\/noindex>, som erbjuder skrivbordet MATE. Precis som i Trident anv\u00e4nds i GhostBSD som standard initieringssystemet OpenRC och filsystemet ZFS, men ytterligare st\u00f6d f\u00f6r Live-l\u00e4ge ges.<\/p>\n<p><noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\"
