Problemen har tilldelats h\u00f6gsta riskniv\u00e5 (9,8 av 10 CVSS), eftersom s\u00e5rbarheterna m\u00f6jligg\u00f6r f\u00f6r en icke-autentiserad angripare via n\u00e4tverket att f\u00e5 \u00e5tkomst till funktioner f\u00f6r fj\u00e4rrhantering av utrustningen genom att skicka speciellt utformade IPv6-paket. Problemet visar sig endast n\u00e4r AMT:s st\u00f6d f\u00f6r IPv6-\u00e5tkomst \u00e4r aktiverat, vilket \u00e4r avst\u00e4ngt som standard. S\u00e5rbarheterna har \u00e5tg\u00e4rdats i firmware-uppdateringar 11.8.77, 11.12.77, 11.22.77 och 12.0.64. <\/p>\n<p>Vi p\u00e5minner om att moderna Intel-chipsets \u00e4r utrustade med en separat mikroprocessor kallad Management Engine, som arbetar oberoende av CPU och operativsystem. AMT-gr\u00e4nssnittet m\u00f6jligg\u00f6r \u00e5tkomst till funktioner f\u00f6r str\u00f6mhantering, trafik\u00f6vervakning, \u00e4ndring av BIOS-inst\u00e4llningar, firmware-uppdateringar, radering av diskar, fj\u00e4rrstart av ett nytt operativsystem (emulerar ett USB-minne som kan startas ifr\u00e5n), omdirigering av konsol (Serial Over LAN och <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/sv\/vps\/abuzoustojchivye-vps\/\"   title=\"KVM\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"4377\">KVM<\/a> via n\u00e4tverket) etc. De tillhandah\u00e5llna gr\u00e4nssnitten \u00e4r tillr\u00e4ckliga f\u00f6r att genomf\u00f6ra attacker som kan utf\u00f6ras med fysiskt tilltr\u00e4de till systemet, till exempel kan man starta ett
