I den nya utg\u00e5van har en omfattande kodreng\u00f6ring utf\u00f6rts \u2014 all kod i C har skrivits om och projektet inkluderar nu endast k\u00e4llkoden i Guile.<\/p>\n<p>Mcron \u00e4r 100% kompatibel med Vixie cron och kan fungera som en transparent ers\u00e4ttning f\u00f6r den. F\u00f6rutom Vixie cron-konfigurationsformatet tillhandah\u00e5ller Mcron ocks\u00e5 m\u00f6jligheten att definiera schemalagda uppgifter skrivna i Scheme-spr\u00e5ket. Mcron-implementationen inneh\u00e5ller tre g\u00e5nger f\u00e4rre rader kod \u00e4n Vixie cron.
