Biblioteket st\u00f6der sammanst\u00e4llning f\u00f6r ARM-arkitekturer (32-bit), i386, RISC-V, x86_64 och PowerPC.<\/p>\n<p>Projektet utvecklades ursprungligen under namnet \"newlib-nano\" och syftade till att omarbeta vissa resurskr\u00e4vande funktioner i Newlib, vilket var problematiskt att anv\u00e4nda p\u00e5 inb\u00e4ddade enheter med liten RAM. Till exempel ersattes stdio-funktioner med en kompakt version fr\u00e5n avrlibc-biblioteket.
