AMD will hold a presentation of new products as part of the upcoming gaming exhibition E3 2019, which will be held from June 11 to 14 in Los Angeles. The Next Horizon Gaming event will be held on the "zero" day of the exhibition, June 10 (June 11 at 01:00 Moscow time), and AMD promises to present its "next-generation gaming products" there.
The press release dedicated to the announcement of the event indicates that AMD CEO and President Dr. Lisa Su will deliver the keynote speech. It should reveal details about upcoming products and technologies that will be used in gaming computers, consoles and cloud gaming platforms in the coming years.
In addition, AMD is also promising keynotes from game developers that will showcase "the most interesting games coming out this year" and reveal some details about them. AMD will invite members of the press to the event, and everyone will be able to watch the Next Horizon Gaming live stream on YouTube and Facebook. True, since the event will begin only on June 11 at one in the morning Moscow time, it will be more convenient for many residents of Russia to watch it already in the recording.
What exactly will AMD present in mid-June? We can almost certainly say that this will be a presentation of Navi GPUs. Most likely, they will tell us details about the features of the new AMD graphics architecture, as well as show video cards based on it and, possibly, present the main characteristics of the final solutions. We will also talk about next-generation consoles, and it seems that both from Sony and from Microsoft. Both manufacturers have already announced that they will continue to work with AMD on their future gaming systems.
Note that on June 10, only the announcement of new Navi GPUs and video cards is expected. New generation graphics accelerators will go on sale later. According to the latest data, this will take place only in the third quarter of this year. We assume that the release of Navi generation video cards can be expected in late July or early August.
