The Firefox browser on Android has been losing popularity lately. Therefore, Mozilla is developing Fenix. This is a new web browser with an improved tab management system, a faster engine and a modern look. The latter, by the way, includes a fashionable dark theme for today.

The company hasn't announced an exact release date yet, but has already released a public beta. The new browser compared to the mobile version of Firefox has received significant user interface changes. For example, the navigation bar "moved" down, which makes it easier to access menu items. But switching tabs is not yet implemented very well. If earlier it was possible to swipe the address bar, as in Chrome, now this gesture is responsible for redirecting to the combined start screen. Maybe this will be changed before release.

The beta version has already been published on Google Play, however, in order to gain access, you need to register as a beta tester and join the Fenix ​​Nightly Google group. As an option available assembly on APK Mirror. True, in this case there will be no automatic updates for obvious reasons.
