Dataminer and programmer Martin Benjamins tweeted that he was able to access the Warcraft III: Reforged closed beta client. He failed to enter the game itself, but the enthusiast , what the menu looks like, found details of the Versus mode and hints of open testing. Following Benjamins, other dataminers began to dig into the project files and found many new screenshots.
On the published images, you can see a variety of characters and their icons. There are representatives of orcs, humans, dark elves and nerubians here. Some of the images are drawings by artists, which most likely became the basis for creating certain models in the game. Separately, Benjamins showed screenshots of the Versus mode. In it, users can compete in teams of up to four people. Dataminer also that I came across a build of the Warcraft III: Reforged client called "Beta Week 0 RC5 (Final RC)". This hints at an open beta testing of the strategy, but the date of the event has not yet been announced.
Warcraft III: Reforged is due out on PC before the end of 2019.
