At the end of 2019, Epic was giving away one free game daily for 12 days. But in 2020, the company decided through its digital platform Epic Games Store to offer PC owners three more games -
The original Darksiders came out almost exactly 10 years ago. The project was similar to Zelda: new abilities unlocked additional levels in old locations. But unlike Nintendo's family-oriented elf sim, the dark and gory Darksiders series is aimed at an adult audience. "War - the first Horseman of the Apocalypse, who was tricked by the forces of evil into starting the End of the World - is accused of violating sacred law and instigating a war between Heaven and Hell," the plot reports. The Warmastered Edition means improved graphics and performance.
In addition to all three free games, Epic has extended the Epic Games Store Holiday Sale as part of the Encore Week, which includes many of the offerings from the original Epic Store New Year's Sale and runs until January 7th. The next free game that Epic Games Store players will receive after January 9th will be For the King strategy.
