Radeon Driver 19.5.2: Total War: Three Kingdoms Support and Fixes

AMD has unveiled the second May beta driver Software Adrenalin 2019 Edition 19.5.2. Its main feature is the support of the new strategy Total War: Three Kingdoms, dedicated to Ancient China of the 190th model, as well as the events of Luo Guanzhong's semi-mythical novel "Three Kingdoms".

In addition, AMD engineers have fixed a number of known issues:

  • screen flickering on systems with AMD Radeon VII when working with multiple displays;
  • incorrect display of maximum temperature for some GPUs in Radeon WattMan;
  • GPU load level when overlaying Radeon Performance Metrics is displayed on unsupported products.
  • HDR video freezes or does not play correctly in the Movies and TV app on some Ryzen APUs.

AMD specialists continue to work on fixing bugs:

  • Unable to stream Radeon ReLive and upload videos and other content to Facebook.
  • Issues connecting discrete GPU on ASUS TUF Gaming FX505 laptop when idle;
  • hovering in World War Z with a long game;
  • Performance metrics and Radeon WattMan indicators overlay show inaccurate fluctuations on AMD Radeon VII.
  • Acer Swift 3 with AMD Ryzen CPU instability when updating to Radeon Software Adrenalin 2019 Edition 19.5.2 using clean install option.

Radeon Software Adrenalin 2019 Edition 19.5.2 can be downloaded on 64-bit versions of Windows 7 or Windows 10 as with AMD official site, or from the Radeon Settings menu. It is dated May 22 and is intended for video cards and integrated graphics of the Radeon HD 7000 family and above.
