Plot details have not yet been revealed, but the video mentions one of the captains of the order. He will probably become one of the main characters in the series. Judging by the trailer, there will be no shortage of battles. The series will be released before the end of 2020.

The Blood Angels are a First Founding Chapter that was created ninth in order. His primarch was Sanguinius, who became famous as the Great Angel. He was nicknamed so because of the presence of white wings on his back. Sanguinius was one of the Emperor's 20 lost sons. During the Horus Heresy, he was killed by his own brother Horus Lupercal, who went over to the side of chaos. According to the history of the universe, during a skirmish with Horus, Sanguinius made a hole in his armor, thanks to which the Emperor was able to kill his son who rebelled against him and save humanity.

This is not the first attempt to create an animated series based on the Warhammer 40K universe. In 2019, professional 3D artist from New Zealand Syama Pedersen released the mini-series Astartes. It included four episodes, the total duration of which was about five and a half minutes.
