New version released Guitaris - a free emulator of guitar effects and amplifiers.
The main innovation was a redesigned tube emulation algorithm, which affected both the overall sound and the response dynamics. The change will most likely change the sound of existing presets, but the developers are confident that the improvements are worth it. The new algorithm was written by Damien Zammit, author of ZamAudio plugins.
Also added:
- DC blocker for input;
- volume controls in Power Amp;
- Output Limiter filter.
