Huawei believes that Europe will not follow in the footsteps of the United States, the company is blacklisted because it has been a partner of European telecommunications companies for many years, Huawei Vice President Catherine Chen said in an interview with the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera.
Chen said that Huawei has been working in Europe for more than 10 years, working closely with telecommunications companies to develop 5G networks.
“We don't think this can happen in Europe,” Chen said, when asked if she was worried that European countries would impose such restrictions in the face of US pressure. “I believe they will make their own decisions,” she added.
