User named indiethetvshow that came to a zombie in a swamp because of a barking dog. It was the animal that brought the revived dead man to the trail, after which a bandit attacked his character. The player assumes that this effect is caused by the action of the trap. The dead body does not lie on the ground, but stands motionless and resembles a zombie. Another user, groats_active, also saw a dead NPC in the swamp. Other forum members joined the discussion, some of them claim to have seen blue-skinned zombies.
Most players believe that the appearance of the walking dead in Red Dead Online is the result of various errors. However, some speculate that the zombies will be part of a Halloween event being prepared by the developers at Rockstar Games. The authors themselves have not yet commented on this.
