iOS 13 "banned" iPhone owners from entering the phrase "hot chocolate"

The iOS 13 operating system for Apple iPhone smartphones was announced this summer. Among its widely publicized innovations was the ability to enter text on the built-in keyboard with a swipe, that is, without taking your fingers off the screen. However, with some phrases, this function showed problems.

According to a number of users on the Reddit forum, using the swipe method on the “native” iOS 13 keyboard, you cannot write the phrase “hot chocolate”, which means “hot chocolate” in English. Moreover, it is not possible to do this even with the automatic correction turned off. The system types anything, just unnecessary words, and, as noted in the reviews, it is impossible to make the keyboard remember the desired phrase.

iPhone owners with the latest version of the software platform counted more than a dozen variations - from “not chocolate” to “hoot chi couture”. It is possible that there are many more options, but it seems that there is no one right among them. Thus, users who want to type “hot chocolate” on Apple smartphones with a swipe can only hope that this bug will be fixed in the iOS 13.2.1 update.

Recall that in addition to text input without taking your finger off the screen, iOS 13 received improved performance, a dark mode, a completely updated reminder application, improved Apple Mail, Notes, Safari and Maps services, increased privacy, new photo and video editing tools, as well as a number of other innovations. iOS 13 can be installed on iPhone 6s and later models.
