Kaspersky Lab has released an updated version of Kaspersky Security Cloud for Android, designed to comprehensively protect mobile device users from digital threats.
A feature of the new version of the program is advanced privacy protection mechanisms, supplemented by the "Check Permissions" function. With its help, the owner of an Android gadget can obtain information about all the potentially dangerous permissions that the installed software has. Dangerous permissions are those that allow you to control system settings or may compromise the safety of the user's personal data, including the contact list, location information, SMS, access to the webcam and microphone, etc.
“According to our survey, almost half of smartphone owners are concerned about what data applications collect about them. That is why we added the ability to see all dangerous permissions in a single window and learn about the risks associated with them in our Kaspersky Security Cloud solution, ”Kaspersky Lab notes.
