Lenovo will return to the Russian smartphone market

In January 2017, Lenovo was the leader among all Chinese brands in the Russian smartphone market with 7% of the industry in units. But already in April of the same year, the official deliveries of Lenovo cellular devices to our country were stopped, and the company itself concentrated its efforts on promoting the Motorola brand in Russia. Alas, these smartphones did not gain popularity among Russians, and Lenovo quickly lost ground in the cellular market in our country.

As it is now reported, Lenovo has signed an agreement on the exclusive distribution of its smartphones with Mobilidi (part of the RDC Group holding), which promotes Xiaomi and Hisense smartphones. It is said that Lenovo devices will appear in Russia in the Lenovo.Store online store, the Hitbuy retail network and the networks of other federal retailers. Thus, the united company Svyaznoy intends to offer Lenovo smartphones | Euroset. Negotiations with Mobilidi are also conducted by the M.Video-Eldorado group and VimpelCom.
