It is noted that antennas for operating in fifth generation mobile networks require more space inside mobile devices than 4G/LTE antennas. Therefore, developers will have to look for new ways to optimize the internal space of smartphones.

One way to solve the problem, according to LG, could be to place a 5G antenna in the screen area. It is important to emphasize that we are not talking about integrating the antenna into the display structure. Instead, it will be placed on the back of the screen module.

It is also noted that LG technology allows you to attach a 5G antenna to the rear panel of the device (from the inside). However, the South Korean company will most likely use this part for wireless battery charging system components.
