Biostar Product Manager Vicky Wang gave an interview to the Korean edition of Brainbox, in which she spoke about the company's upcoming motherboards based on new AMD and Intel chipsets. Interestingly, shortly after the publication of the interview, Biostar stated that the information in it was incorrect, although it did not specify which one. Brainbox also removed part of the interview about future boards, but Tom's Hardware has already prepared its own material on this subject. But still, we will conditionally consider the information presented below as "rumors".
The manager of Biostar said that we can expect new motherboards with AMD and Intel chipsets to appear in the foreseeable future. Moreover, it was noted that motherboards based on the long-awaited AMD B550 system logic are already completely ready to enter the market.
Unfortunately, no specific date has been announced for the start of sales of motherboards based on the new mid-range AMD chipset. However, back in the summer, the DigiTimes resource reported that the production of motherboards based on the AMD B550, as well as on the junior AMD A520 chipset, should begin already.
As for the new Intel 400-series chipsets, which are designed for the upcoming Comet Lake-S desktop processors, motherboards based on them should appear next year. This coincides with a recent leak, according to which 14nm processors
