Journalists from GameInformer played a trial version of Project Resistance, a multiplayer game, at the Tokyo Game Show 2019 Resident Evil series. Thanks to this, new details and many screenshots appeared. According to the representatives of the portal, the game is strongly focused on team interaction.
In Project Resistance, a group of four survivors must complete their objectives, open the exit, and escape the complex. The death of any of the characters reduces the time allotted for the mission. The four are hindered by the manager of the complex, who also has a limited amount of resources. In this role, the player can upgrade zombies, turn a surveillance camera into a turret, and so on. All characters have a specialization and additional abilities. For example, Valerie heals teammates, and also knows how to mark cameras and traps.
Each run in Project Resistance consists of three stages. Players look for a certain item, then find a use for it, and then try to escape. On the published screenshots, you can evaluate the compartments of the complex, the map of the first floor of the building, the interface, see the abilities of the characters, as well as various enemies, including the Tyrant. Project Resistance will be released on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The exact date has not yet been announced, but from October 4 to October 7, closed beta testing will take place on consoles.
