NASA recently released an infographic that shows significant gaps in our knowledge about the asteroid threat from space. Planetary Defense Service suspects the existence of dozens of unknown asteroids that could cause global damage to the Earth, and guesses about thousands of smaller rocks, each of which is capable of wiping out an entire city from the face of the planet.
