A completely new desktop is presented Orbitins, which was developed from scratch using the Qt framework. This project aims to combine innovative ideas not previously seen in other DE/WMs with classic elements such as the taskbar, menus and desktop icons.
The Orbitiny project includes a set of native utilities and applications, such as a file manager, notification system, file search interface, and screenshot tool. Development is focused on portability across different distributions. Linux and the ability to be used in Live environments, as well as in any existing user environments, including KDE and GNOME. The author comments on the questions βX11 vs Waylandβ as follows:
Right now, I officially support X11 only. There are at least 2 issues with Wayland: the windows task buttons do not show up and no SysTray.

Download and try without installation: https://gitea.com/sasko.usinov/orbitiny-desktop/raw/branch/main/orbitiny-bin-release/orbitiny-release.tar.gz
Note from the author of the news: I still couldn't download the archive to make screenshots myself, the archive download speed doesn't rise above 1kb/sec, and the site itself (gitea) doesn't load. I'm still trying to figure out what's going on (I tried tor proxy for fun - same thing).
