Ubuntu RescuePack 21.11 antivirus boot disk update

The Ubuntu RescuePack 21.11 build is available for free download, allowing you to conduct a full anti-virus scan without starting the main operating system to detect and remove various malware, computer viruses, Trojans, rootkits, worms, spyware, ransomware from the system, as well as disinfect infected computers. The size of the boot Live image is 3.4 GB (x86_64).

The antivirus packages include ESET NOD32 4, BitDefender, COMODO, Sophos, Avira, eScan, Vba32 and ClamAV (ClamTk). The disk is also equipped with tools for recovering deleted files and partitions. Supports data verification in FAT, FAT32, exFAT, NTFS, HFS, HFS+, btrfs, e2fs, ext2, ext3, ext4, jfs, nilfs, reiserfs, reiser4, xfs and zfs file systems. The use of an external boot disk does not allow malware to counteract the neutralization and restoration of the infected system. The assembly can be considered as a Linux alternative to disks such as Dr.Web LiveDisk and Kaspersky Rescue Disk.

In the new version:

  • Anti-virus databases include updates as of November 29, 2021;
  • Due to the cessation of development, the F-prot antivirus has been removed;
  • Updated versions of ClamTk 6.14, eScan 7.0.31, Sophos 9.17.1 (antivirus kernel 5.82) and Avira 8.3.64.60.
