The assembly is available for free download Ubuntu RescuePack 21.11, which runs a full antivirus scan without booting the main operating system, detects and removes various malware, computer viruses, Trojans, rootkits, worms, spyware, and ransomware, and disinfects infected computers. The bootable Live image is 3.4 GB (x86_64).
The kit includes the following antivirus packages: ESET NOD32 4, BitDefender, COMODO, Sophos, Avira, eScan, Vba32, and ClamAV (ClamTk). The disk also includes tools for recovering deleted files and partitions. It supports data scanning in the following file systems: FAT, FAT32, exFAT, NTFS, HFS, HFS+, btrfs, e2fs, ext2, ext3, ext4, jfs, nilfs, reiserfs, reiser4, xfs, and zfs. Using an external boot drive prevents malware from countering the disinfection and restoration of an infected system. The kit can be considered as Linux- an alternative to disks such as Dr.Web LiveDisk and Kaspersky Rescue Disk.
In the new version:
- Anti-virus databases include updates as of November 29, 2021;
- Due to the cessation of development, the F-prot antivirus has been removed;
- Updated versions of ClamTk 6.14, eScan 7.0.31, Sophos 9.17.1 (antivirus kernel 5.82) and Avira 8.3.64.60.
