Chrome update 77.0.3865.90 fixes critical vulnerability

Google has released a corrective update to Chrome 77.0.3865.90. It fixed four security vulnerabilities.

One of the vulnerabilities had a critical status, it allowed bypassing all browser protection levels and executing code on the system outside the sandbox environment. Details about the critical vulnerability (CVE-2019-13685) are not yet disclosed until users install the update.

Other vulnerabilities are classified as dangerous. The issues were caused by accessing a freed memory block in the code for processing offile pages (CVE-2019-13686) and multimedia data (CVE-2019-13687, CVE-2019-13688).
