In single-player mode, oddly enough, there are no significant differences from the usual βtriplesβ - all characters can use all their abilities, and the number of scattered weapons and other rubbish remains the same. For obvious reasons, revival beacons do not work here, and the knockout shield is only useful if it is legendary and allows you to return yourself to life. Although experienced players will probably suspect something is wrong if their target does not die immediately.
The map has been updated a bit - not far from the Thunderdome, Octane has built an entire attraction with trampolines and a ring of fire. βWe are trying to make sure that the map reflects the characteristics of our legends, so that Octaneβs creation will remain with us after the end of the event,β the developers say. βIf you like these legendary lands, perhaps we will do something similar for other legends in the future.β
Finally, more than twenty unique character skins and weapon skins have been introduced into the game. You can only get two items for free, and then you have to hope for luck - they are only available in loot boxes. For the remaining 22 exclusive items, you need to buy boxes with random rewards, each of which will cost 700 coins (one thousand coins costs 749 rubles). The event will end in exactly two weeks.
